Associate Clinician
Day-to-day life can become so difficult at times that we lose touch or disconnect from ourselves. While we often try our best to stay true to ourselves, sometimes the pressure we receive from society and others can influence us. For some, this relates to how one's lived experiences, cultural identities, relationships, careers, and environments impact their ability to live happily and healthily.
I value what it means for someone to be seen for who they truly are and who they want to become. As a therapist, I am passionate about helping clients to bridge the gap between their goals, fears, traumas, and dreams. More importantly, I understand the level of courage that clients must have to embark on a journey of self-growth, as I have been on the other side of the process.
Collaboratively, I help clients lean into their innate power and strength so they may find the motivation, coping skills, and security they need to move past the anxiety of what life "could" or "should" be. I guide people to trust their intuition. Whether this includes assisting clients to identify their needs, set boundaries, or become grounded in their day-to-day lives, I aim to help people achieve their goals in the ways that feel best for their body, mind, and spirit.
Integrating a holistic approach to therapy, my work emphasizes the mind-body connection and spiritual aspects of one's self. Along with my extensive experience working with trauma-related care, the LGBTQ+ population, and other various marginalized communities, some of my areas of interest include: complex trauma, strengthening one’s degree of intimacy with the self and others, recovery from sexual abuse, authentic self-expression, identity development, and spirituality.
In my free time I love exploring nature, dancing, writing poetry, and spending time with loved ones (including my two amazing cats). I also enjoy connecting with my inner most self through cooking, the beach, music/sound, and multiple types of movement in my daily life.
Fee: $90-130 per 55 min session
