Olivia Clark, AMFT
Hello! My name is Olivia Clark and I am an associate Marriage and Family Therapist here at Fullerton Community Counseling. I was drawn to therapy for the immense need for healing in the world, and I am passionate about helping people along their journey in life. I know how important it is to have someone in your corner that believes in your personal growth. I aim to provide a safe and positive space to feel understood, as well as navigate some of the pressures and struggles brought on by societal issues we face, along with one’s own internal struggles, which can be overwhelming at times. I am committed to providing culturally informed psychotherapy, which specifically includes the affirmation of women, people of color, LGBTQIA + communities, socio-economically vulnerable individuals, and other marginalized groups. I seek to compassionately reach client’s unconscious levels of family, community, and cultural trauma, helping to reconnect individuals with themselves, and improve overall mental health.
My therapeutic style is eclectic and tailored to the client’s unique experience and personal goals for therapy. I provide a warm and relational approach blending humanistic, person-centered, spiritual and depth psychology, and mindfulness based-practices. I view therapy as a collaborative process with room for creativity. I believe in empowering my clients to live their best lives and act as a compassionate vessel on their journey of self-discovery. I have worked with clients that are coping with anxiety and stress, low self-esteem, grief and loss, life transitions, and identity development. I enjoy being a part of such a transformational process, and forming genuine connections with each of my clients.
Some of my hobbies include singing, songwriting, and performing. I enjoy practicing yoga, traveling, watching movies, as well as spending time with my family and my beloved dog Cashew.
Fee: $90-130 per 55 min session
